Asana: Brand Projects ("Calendars")

This article provides direction on how to navigate and manage your brand's project ("calendar").

Updated this week

Brand Projects

There are four (4) ways to view all of the workload in your brand calendar, including:

1. List: This view lists tasks separated by department and then sorted by due date, ascending from due first. This view is useful when you are trying to find a task based on a ‘function’ or department and then be able to click into each task.

2. Board: This view is also separated by department and shows all workload in a bulletin/post it view.

3. Timeline: This view is useful if you are trying to look at a monthly/quarterly view of workload. However, it’s not very useful for tracking owners, status, risk, subtasks, on a particular task.

4. Calendar: This is the best view for sorting tasks by ‘due date’ since it looks like a calendar. You can click into each task and view owners, status, subtasks, and more.

Managing Workload

A lot of the workload in your brand calendar is triggered when you submit your ‘Daily Communication & Workload’ form.

See below for how your submissions are filtered and sorted in your calendar and get routed to the correct cross-functional partners at Leap.
